I've decided to do another cancer fundraiser - this time the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.

It went great! I was really happy with how everything turned out. I even got a check from a friend whom I've never met that I play an online game with! Thanks to all of you who were a part of this great day.
My walking has increased steadily over the past few days, albeit with extended breaks. Today I walked a mile downtown..that was an adventure...some people in cars have absolutely NO respect for pedestrians. It's not as though I was jaywalking..I was trying to cross while the walk was still on! And i alost got hit by about 37 cars.I'm going to go register sometime tomorrow at one of the hospitals. It's starting to become more and more real to me! Hopefully, I can keep this site and modify it for next year's race.I just found out my boyfriend was diagnosed with epilepsy. It was recurring from his childhood. I'm pretty bummed about it, but I figured I can do something about participating in fundraisers for that cause as well. Here's hoping!
